In Japan we use the word “神話(しんわ-shinwa)” for the English word “Mythology” or “Myth” when we translate these words into Japanese. And the following example Japanese Words are related word to “神話”; “古伝(こでん-koden)” [means “”Myth”, “Legend” or “Fable”], “伝承(でんしょう-denshou)” [means “Tradition”, “Lore” or ”Legend”], “作り話(つくりばなし-tsukuribanashi)” [means “Fiction” or “Myth”] and “言い伝え(いいつたえ-iitsutae)” [means “Tradition” or “Legend”] etc.
