i and ri … I don’t find ri on the list of hiragana symbols. It’s on my chart . I think it’s for first grade or preschool. I’m a 73 year old beginner. Should I be working on vocabulary in Roma lettering before I struggle with hiragana and katakana…and kanji? I like your site, here. Arigato.

      Hi Kevin

Thank you for visiting my site.
On which list couldn’t you find Hiragana “ri”? I think the Kana list of this site has Hiragana “ri”.

If you can read and write Kana already, I think you’d be better to learn Japanese vocabulary using “Kana”(because you hardly find Rama-ji Japanese at all).
