Japanese Word Images for the Word Symbol
Here are some Japanese word images for the word “Symbol”. In Japan we usually use “象徴(しょうちょう-shouchou)” for translating this word into Japanese. And also we have some other words such as “記号(きごう-kigou)”, “符号(ふごう-fugou)”, “印(しるし-shirushi)” and “シンボル(しんぼる-shinboru)” etc.
The word “Symbol” is very popular in Japan so we often use the word “シンボル” which we expressed the pronunciation of “Symbol” using Japanese Katakana characters.
The below images are Japanese Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana for these Japanese words.

I have recently been trying to learn Japanese. I’ve been looking for the symbol that is for the word Japanese. But I found a lot and don’t know which one is which. Is there a symbol just 1 that means Japanese?
If you could help me I truly appreciate it. Thank you very much, Kara
