In Japan we use the word “真実(しんじつ-shinjitsu)” for the English word “Truth”.
We have a few similar meaning words. Here are some examples; “真理(しんり-shinri)”, “真相(しんそう-shinsou)” and “本当(ほんとう-hontou)” etc.
And “真理” is often used as a girl’s name. In that case we pronounce this word “真理(まり-mari)”. And also we use as a girl’s name just add a kanji “子(こ-ko)” like this “真理子(まりこ-mariko).”
