夢 means Dream
In Japan we use the word “夢(ゆめ-yume)” for the English word “Dream”.
And not only for night dream, this Japanese Kanji word “夢” is also used for “Wish” like the English word “Dream” is. So both of the words “Dream” and “夢” are almost completely same meaning words.
